You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

We reserve the right to reject any items that do not meet the conditions above, and we advise customers to thoroughly inspect items upon delivery. Returns/exchange/refund guarantee does not apply to products sold as a 'second' or 'ex-display' etc.

Returns Policy - Used Items

We provide returns for used products where there is a manufacturing defect, and assess these on a case-by-case basis. Cricket bats, being a natural product made of very soft willow, collide with something harder than itself (a hard cricket ball bowled at significant speed), and are damaged on each and every impact. Being natural, means that performance on any individual bat cannot be guaranteed.

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer returns where the product has a manufacturing defect, and within thirty (30) days of purchase. Note that manufacturing defects DO NOT cover damage/breakage from player faults/mis-use such as:

  • Mistimed hits or mis-hits (e.g. where contact is made to toe or edge of cricket bat with the ball or ground)
  • Attempting to hit a Yorker shot
  • Any toe or edge damage or splits (these are considered mis-hits, as the ball is to be played in the bat middle)
  • Malicious damage, including using products in ways not intended
  • General wear and tear

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, and you wish to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you once we've received and processed the returned item.

  • Any claims for defects must be made within thirty (30) days of original purchase
  • Customer to organise the return of goods, and return postal charges are at customer's expense
  • Replacement items will only be sent after we have received the items back from you
  • We reserve the right to inspect items, and at our sole discretion, will determine whether any damage is due to a manufacturing defect or due to inadequate preparation, maintenance, or through accident, mis-use or mis-hit.

We advise that all cricket bats require further knocking in and oiling (including those sold with some knocking in already completed), and also need some soft nets play with an OLD ball BEFORE they are used in a match. This will help maintain your bat. Failure to do so will shorten the life of the bat, and it is easy to determine if damage is due to incorrect preparation, knocking in, or maintenance.

We HIGHLY recommend the use of an anti-scuff sheet (e.g. Extratec) on your bat. These sheets are the BEST protection for face and edges of a cricket bat. Bat problems are considerably reduced when an anti-scuff sheet is used, and the absense of an anti-scuff sheet is a major cause to damage to the bat face. Professional first class and Test cricketers widely use anti-scuff sheets. We provide an anti-scuff sheet with every bat, because they reduce the incident of cracks and splits, and also increase bat life.
